How does DCC work?
Inform
Your customer can see the transaction amount in both currencies, along with the exchange rate and commission charge. They pick their preferred currency and you proceed to payment.
Lock in
Once you make the sale, your customer’s receipt displays the price they paid in their home currency – making it easier for them to recognise the sale on their card statement and less likely to raise a chargeback.
