What is changing? |
Due to required security updates customers using older versions of the MobileMerchant app for Android may be unable to process transactions after the end of November 2021. New version of the MobileMerchant app was released earlier this year, so users still using older versions of the MobileMerchant app must update to avoid impact. |
What does it mean to you? |
If you are using older version of the MobileMerchant app for Android (2.4.x), this update is required to ensure you are still able to process transactions after the end of November 2021. Customers using the MobileMerchant app for iOS are not impacted. |
What do you need to do? |
We encourage you to update the MobileMerchant app to the latest version prior to the end of November to ensure that you are not impacted by this change. If you use a mobile phone or tablet on older operating system versions - Android 6.0 or earlier, you should update your Android operating system and then update the MobileMerchant app at the earliest opportunity to ensure you are not impacted by this change. If you are using Android 7.0 or later, you should update the MobileMerchant app at the earliest opportunity to ensure that you are not impacted by this change. The latest version (2.5.1) of the MobileMerchant app for Android is already available in Google Play Store. |
